Why does Boruto Hates His Dad Naruto?

Naruto was a popular anime series that aired in the late 90s, and throughout all of this time, it has been watched all over the world by kids and adults alike. Just about every person who’s ever seen Naruto has their feeling about Naruto as a character. And whether you love him or hate him, one thing is for certain: just about everyone can agree that Boruto, his son from Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, definitely hates his dad.

Boruto doesn’t like much of anything about his father at first glance. He doesn’t like his dad’s work as a Hokage, he doesn’t like how his dad spends time on other people and not enough time with him and his mom, he doesn’t even like the fact that Naruto didn’t give him a name – although the name Boruto (ボルト) is derived from Naruto’s name “Naruto.” Yes, Boruto hates Naruto.

So why does Boruto hate his father? That question has been around since before Boruto was even born. As far back as four generations of Naruto fans have been asking this question.

There’s no doubt that Boruto, Naruto’s son, is a complex character. He has been compared to Sasuke by fans for his quick temper and determination to be acknowledged as the next Hokage. But why does Boruto dislike Naruto so much? This article will explore some of the reasons why that might be the case!

Who Is Naruto?

Naruto is a member of the Uzumaki clan, a family that possesses bloodlines that can manipulate their enemies and allies. The Uzumaki clan also possesses the ability to expand their chakra reserves using their strong life force.

In his adulthood, Naruto became the Seventh Hokage (or seven Hokage) from the village of Konohagakure and he attained this position because he saved the village from Pain, leader of Akatsuki. He later achieved the Six Paths Sage Mode and became an ally to other villages as a result with his friends and family in tow. After two years of peace, Naruto went on another journey with his son Boruto.

Character Of Naruto-

Naruto is a boy who is full of energy and determination. He is easygoing, kind, and compassionate to others. He is a natural-born leader with a strong sense of justice. Throughout the series, he has demonstrated his unending loyalty to his friends and family. Naruto is the sort of person who will do anything for his friends and family, not for himself. His oaths protect the village from harm and his willingness to sacrifice protects it from even greater evils like Pain. Naruto is a hero who is willing to work hard so that everyone in his village may have peace. Due to this, he was able to become a very powerful figure with many allies in Konohagakure, Konoha.

Hinata’s Love For Naruto-

Naruto came into the life of Hinata Hyuga after she was saved by him from bullies; she began developing a crush on him following this incident. Sadly, Naruto was too dense at the time to know what love meant and didn’t realize her feelings for him until much later in the series.

Who Is Boruto?

Boruto is the son of Naruto and Hinata, a new ninja in his own right — but he’s also got some problems to work out. From not getting along with his father, to striking out on a journey of self-discovery, Boruto has plenty that’s on his mind. He easily became Hokage due to his father’s reputation and his talent, though he was held back by a rivalry with Sasuke Uchiha.

Boruto was born during the warring era when Naruto was the Seventh Hokage and busy fighting against the evil forces of Black Zetsu. Because of this, Boruto sees himself as someone who is merely seen as a tool to fight against White Zetsu and other evil factions.

Character Of Boruto-

Boruto’s character is a complex one. He bears a grudge against his father, Naruto. On the other hand, he looks up to Sasuke as a mentor and father figure. When he was young, it was shown that Boruto greatly admired Naruto when he was still cool. However, after seeing how Naruto was treated by the village and comparing it to how Sasuke was treated by the village, Boruto realized that his father wasn’t respected by anyone in the village for all of his hard work and sacrifice for their sake.

Why Does Boruto Dislike Naruto?

The reason why Boruto hates his father isn’t yet clearly shown, but there are possible origins of this problem between them due to some circumstances that occurred on a mission. In the beginning, Naruto was a bit harsh towards his son and didn’t like him much. This gets better after Boruto’s mother Hinata left Naruto, the seventh Hokage for her love for him.

She wanted Boruto to be raised by them to be raised in a happy family without any hate, but Naruto refused that by saying he would raise him with all the pride in the world. By his time, Naruto is handing out chores to his son and tells him what to do with his own life since he believes Boruto isn’t mature enough to do everything alone. This can be confirmed when he gives him a list of chores including what he should wear so that no one questions who he is.

What Was the Conflict Between Naruto and his Son Boruto?

Naruto decided to take his son on a mission, but Boruto thought it was just a vacation. When he discovered that it was a mission, he was furious and refused to do the tasks assigned to him. He claimed that since the Hokage is his father, he should be able to go out for work-free fun time and not risky missions through the village. Boruto and Naruto’s relationship worsened as they began fighting each other which left them both severely injured. This is when Boruto began hating his father because he didn’t want anyone close to him dying while they were on this mission and feels like if someone stronger than Naruto isn’t protecting the village, there will be a danger for everyone.

What Was the main Reason For Boruto For hating his Father Naruto?

Boruto would have probably been the first Naruto fanboy at some point, but now what he hates about his father is that he’s supposedly a lazy and weak Hokage who doesn’t do much for the village. He also despises his father for lacking the resolve to protect Konoha, as Naruto prioritized family overwork. Boruto feels like he has a chance to change the face of the village since he has strong bonds with Sasuke and is considered by many to be a future Hokage.
